Research Abstract |
Islet transplantation becomes one of the therapeutic option for cure of type 1 diabetes. In this study, we have researched the possibility of regulation of natural killer cells cytotoxicity against transplanted islet graft. Co-culture with both prostaglandin E2 and TGF-beta can suppress the cytokine stimulated-NK cells cytotoxicity.
