Grant-in-Aid for Research Activity Start-up
I revealed the important role of LTB4-BLT1 axis in antigen-dependent immunological synapse (IS) formation between dendritic cells (DC) and CD4+T cells. By using in vitroDC-T cell co-culture system, I also found that BLT1 in DC is important for IS formation. In parallel, to investigate the role of BLT1 in DC in vivo, I established the BLT1floxedmice. I will generate DC-specific BLT1 conditional knockout mice.
