Research Abstract |
We examined effects of steroid-coactivator MTI-II on inflammatory responses in MG63 cells. Overexpression of MTI-II in he cells failed toincrease TNFa-induced NF-k8-luciferase activity in a dose-dependent manner as well as TNFa-induced expression of matrix metallopeptidase-9 (MMP-9) mRNA , a target gene of NF-kB. These results suggest that MT1-II may may have an potential as an anti-inflaammatory drug
