Outline of Research at the Start

ナノスケールで熱輸送を捉え，かつ要因を分析する技術が強く望まれている背景を踏まえ，電子/陽子，格子など正負電荷の相対運動によって物質表面に生じる熱励起エバネッセント波(波長λ：8～16 μm)を2点で検出し，かつFTIR分析が可能なマルチプローブ型ナノサーマルFTIR技術の確立を目指す．具体的には，独立したAFM駆動系を持つ2本のカーボンナノチューブ探針を試料に近接させて熱励起エバネッセント波を散乱し，低温クライオスタット内に導入したFTIR駆動光学系で高感度検出器に散乱フォトンを導くことによって2点間からのスペクトルをナノスケールで分析可能な技術を構築する．
