Outline of Research at the Start

アルツハイマー病を始めとする認知症の発症メカニズムとして脳内に異常に凝集したタンパク質の蓄積が原因と考えられている。しかしこのタンパク質蓄積の後に続く、どのようなプロセスが神経変性を導いているかについては不明である。本研究においてはそのメカニズムの解明により、新たな予防、治療、診断法の開発を目指す。
