Outline of Research at the Start

これまで交感神経は脳の中枢から一律に集中制御されていると考えられてきた。しかし近年、交感神経節内部の節後ニューロンの多様性が明らかになるなど、この常識を根底から揺るがす発見が相次いでいる。その結果、従来の「常識」を根本的に問い直す必要に迫られている。交感神経の多様性と分散性の実体を包括的に解明することを目指す。
