Outline of Research at the Start |
This project aims to deliver an integrated air transport system model to bring quantitative insights into how sustainable aviation can emerge following the COVID-19 pandemic while meeting the industry’s net zero targets in 2050. This research will be conducted together with Cranfield University (CU) in the UK and Hiroshima University (HU) by analysing both cases (the UK and Japan). The main research question is how to enable green air travel through the use of effective instruments and demand control.
