Outline of Research at the Start |
This research aims to develop chloride-bromide and bromide-iodide heterojunction supercrystals with stable bandgaps. The structure, excitonic, and charge carrier properties of these heterojunction samples will be studied. The first focus will be on preparing chloride, bromide, and iodide perovskites with different sizes and shapes. Also, photo-cross-linking capping-ligands for the perovskites will be synthesized, and the perovskites will be capped with the ligands. Next photochemical reactions will be explored for preparing the heterojunction supercrystals.
