Outline of Research at the Start |
現在普及しているインダクタ素子の動作原理は、19世紀の誘導コイルから変わっていない。しかし近年、電子スピンに起因するインダクタンス(創発インダクタンス)が発見され、インダクタ素子は量子研究の対象へと引き上げられた。創発インダクタンスは、素子サイズ依存性等において古典インダクタンスとは質的に異なる特性を有し、全く新たな素子機能の開拓が期待される。本研究では、スピン軌道相互作用の効果に着目した現象の拡張により、材料選択や周波数特性および外場変調可能性において、創発インダクタンスがより優れた機能性を獲得することを実証する。
