Outline of Research at the Start |
In this research, an implicit animated semantic 3D human body representation will be designed to allow humans to enter 3D virtual worlds with digital twins. The reserach plan is (1) Generate 3D models of diverse humans from a single image. (2) Learn detailed human body and clothes deformation from images and videos for efficient modelling of the deformations of the human body, even when wearing loose clothes. (3) Formulate action-dependent human-scene interaction semantics for realistic integration of human bodies in virtual 3D scenes. Objectively evaluate realism of virtual bodies in VE.
