Outline of Research at the Start	パリ科学アカデミーにおける自然発生説論争（1859-1864)と同時期にプーシェが絡んだもう一つの論争（1859-1860)では微小な動物が示す極限的な乾燥状態(クリプトビオシス)からの「蘇生」が問題となったが、この論争は自然発生説論争の第一段階ともいえる。本研究では、自然発生説論争の初期様相…その発端からパストゥールが本格的に参戦するまで…を詳細に解析する。
