Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、重要なモダニズム詩人である村野四郎、北園克衛、笹沢美明を中心に、モダニズム期から戦時下までの詩の方法意識の変容過程について検証する。日本の伝統詩の一つである俳句がモダニズム詩人の方法意識に与えた影響の要因として、彼らの詩精神の根底に俳句理論の「写生」とともに絵画を中心とした美術理論への強い関心あったことが考えられる。その仮説を、書誌作成という基礎的研究のもと作品分析を行い実証する。その成果をもとにして、戦時下の所謂「戦争詩」の問題を再検証し、日本近代詩史に新たな知見を付することを目的としている。
