Outline of Research at the Start	本研究では，従来の日本語教育のメイン・フィールドを，大学等高等教育機関，日本語学校，地域日本語教室の三つに大別し，文化庁による日本語教育実態調査を用いて，それぞれの日本語教師の需給実態と要因を分析する。その際，日本語教育を「産業」ととらえ，労働経済学，国際労働者移動の経済学の知見を導入する。日本語教師が自らの教育理念を発揮するための，労働・教育環境の安定化に寄与する実証的データを提供したい。
