Outline of Research at the Start	縄文原体と呼ばれる撚り縄は、現在まで出土遺物としては確認されていない。研究の対象となっていたのは、土器表面に残る縄文（圧痕）であり、縄文原体そのものではなかった。つまり、縄文原体と呼ばれるものは、そのすべてが理論的に復元された施文具にすぎないのである。そのため、原体の長さや太さ、撚りの強弱や素材といった具体的な実像に迫ることができなかったのである。本研究では、‘縄文原体の実態はいかなるものであるのか？’という命題を掲げ、SfMを利用することによって縄文原体を３Dモデルとして忠実に再現し、さらには再現した標識３D原体を用いて、複数の同時期製作土器を特定することを目的としている。
