Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、東アフリカと東南アジアののリージョナル・ガバナンスの動向と国境やその周辺地帯の機能との関係を比較して調査する。リージョナル・ガバナンスの変容が国境の機能にどのような影響を与えているのか、両者の相互連関を分析し、地域統合の将来的な方向性を探求する。分析対象としては、ＩＴが交易・出稼ぎに与える影響、FTA、経済回廊、外国投資・援助、密輸や人身売買といった非国家的行為体[NSA])が主な対象となる。特にマレイシアとケニアを取り上げ、両国と周囲のリージョンの関係の比較を行う。主要援助・投資国の動向を追いながら、同時に投資受け入れ国の内政との関係についても分析も進めたい。
