Outline of Research at the Start

近年の我が国においては，地方自治体における行財政効率化が喫緊の課題であり，それを進めるにあたって各種の公共サービスの効率化は不可欠である．効率化の議論にあたっては，数理モデルに基づいた分析を実施することが一つの有効な手段であり，多くの公共サービスに対して組み合わせ最適化の理論が貢献する余地は大きいと考えられるが，いまだ各種サービスの実情に即したモデル設計が進んでいない．そこで，本研究では，公共サービスの実態に見合った組み合わせ最適化のモデルを構築し，現実のサービスへ活用することを検討する．現実の様々な公共サービスが抱える諸問題を数理的に分析し，具体的な解決策を提案することが本研究の目標である．
