Outline of Research at the Start

本研究の目的は、これまでと異なる新たな方法によって日本のホームレス・不安定居住の実態把握と支援策の検討を行い、国際的展開を志向する研究に挑戦することである。
本研究の特色と意義は、第１に、先進諸国で用いられるホームレス・不安定居住の概念・類型を実用的に援用して、日本の多様なホームレス・不安定居住の実態分析を行うことである。日本のホームレス概数調査が抱える限界を乗り越えるため、第２にホームレス・不安定居住経験の大規模インターネット調査や、第３に全国各地の生活保護や生活困窮者支援の実施機関でのホームレス・不安定居住者に対する相談支援実績を検証する方法を採り入れて、実態把握の刷新を試みることである。
