| Outline of Research at the Start |
月経カップは、生理用ナプキンやタンポンに替わる生理用品の一つであり、膣内に挿入して月経血を貯留させ、漏出しないようにする医療用シリコン製のものである。欧米諸国では50年以上前から開発・普及が進んでおり、その有用性も認められている。しかし、わが国では認知度も低く、その使用実態は明らかにされていない。本研究では、日本国内において月経カップがどの程度認知され普及しているのか？調査する。さらに、月経カップの使用が女性の生活の質や心理的ストレスに及ぼす影響はどのようなものか？について検討する。本研究では最終的に、日本人女性への月経カップ普及に関する課題と可能性、およびその普及方法を探ることをめざす。
