Outline of Research at the Start	我が国では、多くの視覚障害者が、はり師・きゅう師・あん摩マッサージ指圧師などの医療職に就労している。しかし、医療や介護の現場だ行われる機能評価において、障がいに起因した様々な困難を抱えている実態が報告されている。研究代表者は、これまでにユニバーサルデザインの臨床用評価支援アプリ「CAST（Clinical Assessment Support Tools）」シリーズの開発に取り組み、その成果を広く公開してきた。本研究は、その研究成果をさらに発展させ、臨床や介護の現場で頻用される機能評価の1つである「歩行評価」を支援するアプリ「CAST-G（Gait; 歩行）」の開発をめざすものである。
