Outline of Research at the Start

本研究は、内容言語統合型学習(Content and Language Integrated Learning、以下、CLILとする) の手法を用い、国際共通語である英語を使用し、多様な文化的背景を持つ人たちと仕事で共 同する際に必要となる英語運用能力とコミュニケーション方略を育成できる教材の開発・運用・分析を行う。教材は、内容を工学、国際共通語である英語を学習するターゲット言語と し、「英語を」学ぶのではなく、他者との協同的な活動の中で「英語で」工学のテーマにつ いて学ぶ形式をとる。また、教材の題材は、グローバルエンジニアに必要な社会的責任の４つの基礎「倫理、環境、安全、貢献」とする。
