Outline of Research at the Start

本研究では、二次元磁性フォトニック結晶における『大きな磁気異常光伝搬』の発現メカニズムの解析を行い、その結果を基により大きくシフトさせる結晶構造の設計と実証を行う。磁性体の誘電率非対角成分の『実部』は光誘起分極を回転させる効果を持っており、この回転がフォトニック結晶の共鳴効果によって増大することで、大きな異常光伝搬が発現する。本研究では、結晶内の光の伝搬を詳しく解析することで、光誘起分極の回転角増大と光エネルギーの流れの関係を探り、新たな光の伝搬制御法の基盤原理として提案していく計画である。
