Outline of Research at the Start	フルクトフィリック乳酸菌（FLAB）に属する A. kosoi は、乳酸菌汎用培地であるMRS培地では全く増殖せず、MRS培地にピルビン酸を添加しても増殖しない。このことから、A. kosoi は、特殊な糖代謝経路を有し、さらにはこれまで知られていないメカニズムによりフルクトフィリック性を獲得している可能性が示唆される。本研究では、A. kosoi を研究対象とし、これまで報告されていない乳酸菌の新規糖代謝経路の存在の証明を目指す。具体的には、次世代シーケンサーによるRNA-seq解析、およびリアルタイムPCRなどの方法を用いて、新規糖代謝経路関連遺伝子の動きを解析し、新規糖代謝経路の全容解明を行う。
