Outline of Research at the Start	油脂生産酵母は細胞増殖を停止した後脂質を蓄積するが、増殖停止のどのような反応に細胞が応答しているのかは明らかになっていない。申請者は、脂質蓄積したL. starkeyi細胞は核を凝縮させてG1期に細胞周期を停止していることや、ラパマイシン処理により人為的にG1期に停止させると脂質蓄積量が増加することを報告した。ラパマイシンは脂質代謝に関係するTOR経路を抑制する薬剤であるため、その影響によって蓄積量が増加している可能性を否定できない。そこで、G1期停止による脂質蓄積において、TOR経路の関連の有無と核凝縮の必要性について解析し、脂質蓄積と細胞応答の関連を明らかにすることを目的とする。
