Outline of Research at the Start

世界的にも生物多様性が豊かなベトナムにおいて自然保護地域を適切に管理することは、生物多様性を保全する上で不可欠である。研究代表者は2019年度からベトナム中部高原地帯ザライ省のKon Chu Rang自然保護区とKon Ka Kinh国立公園で、ベルトトランセクト法による維管束植物相調査を実施した。本研究では次の段階として、先行研究と同じ区内で定量的な土壌動物相調査を行い、NGSを用いた分子同定法と形態比較により、種・分類群を識別・同定し、土壌動物相の特徴を明らかにする。さらに、土壌動物の落葉分解能調査を行うことで、山地照葉樹林における高い生産性を下支えする土壌動物相の機能を評価する。
