Outline of Research at the Start

多くの水産資源において資源状態を適切に評価し，持続可能な漁業を可能にするには，データが豊富にある種のみでなく，データが不足している種（データ不足種）においても正確な資源評価が必須である．データ不足種への資源評価法（データ不足手法）が近年盛んに開発されているが，そのような手法から推定される各資源の資源状態には大きなバイアスがあることが指摘されている．そこで本研究では，データが豊富にある種の情報を利用して，機械学習等を用いてバイアスに寄与する要因を特定し，その要因に基づきバイアスを補正する新たなデータ不足手法の開発を目的とする．これにより，データ不足種に対する適切な資源評価を実現させる．
