Outline of Research at the Start

The project has three sequential phases.
Phase 1 involves testing the general utility of the EPT model by low pressure SEC experiments.
Phase 2 involves development and testing of an NEPT computational model of asymmetric fiber elution that is capable of both simulating and fitting SEC data.
Phase 3 involves using the NEPT model to predict optimal SEC configurations which will then be tested experimentally.
