Outline of Research at the Start

Regulatory mechanisms of phloem organization are still not very clear. Here, we hypothesize that new lateral inhibition for phloem patterning by novel CLE peptides from xylem and procambium regions, while phloem-Dofs and their targeted transcription factors enforce phloem formation. I will prove it.
