Outline of Research at the Start	ある種のウイルスでは、宿主細胞に持続的に感染することが知られている。持続感染状態を成立・維持させるためには、厳密な制御が働く必要があるがその実態は不明の点が多い。私は、長期に安定的に持続感染を維持している日本脳炎ウイルス(JEV)持続感染Vero細胞株の樹立に成功している。本研究では、当該持続感染細胞株について、細胞側、ウイルス側双方から詳細にその性状を解析することで、持続感染の分子機構を明らかにすることを目指す。
