Outline of Research at the Start

がん細胞浸潤等の細胞移動で見られるラメリディポディア（葉状仮足）はArp2/3複合体を介した分岐アクチン線維重合によってできるが、さらに数多くのアクチン結合タンパク質が関わる。その一つアクチニン-4（ACTN4）の発現は、がん細胞の浸潤能との相関性があり、悪性度を示す指標となる。我々は、光電子相関顕微鏡法とライブセル観察でACTN4が豊富なラメリポディアは高い運動性を持つことを見出した。本研究では、浸潤性がん細胞におけるACTN4とラメリポディア形態及び運動能の関連性、ACTN4局在化機構等を解析することで、新型ラメリポディアの存在を確立し、細胞浸潤機構における意義を解明する。
