Outline of Research at the Start	NLKは、MAPキナーゼファミリーに属するタンパク質リン酸化酵素である。私たちはこれまでに、NLKが不良タンパク質蓄積や神経変性、がん発生を正に制御し、加齢性疾患や個体老化に関わることを見出してきた。本研究では、これらの生命現象におけるNLKの分子機能の詳細を明らかにする。また、我々が独自に開発を進めてきたNLK阻害剤を起点に、「疾患・老化に対し治療効果が期待できるNLK阻害剤」を創出する。
