Outline of Research at the Start

大腸癌の発生にはTP53変異が関与しており、変異状態の把握は病態解明の上で重要である。しかし、遺伝子変異解析を日常的に施行しうる施設は限られ、多くの施設は免疫染色で代替しているが、現在一般的に行われているp53免疫染色protocolはTP53変異を正確に判定することが困難である。婦人科領域では野生型p53が検出可能であるNordicQCに準拠した染色protocol (新法)がTP53全exon変異解析の代替法として推奨されている。そこで、大腸癌におけるTP53全exon変異解析と新法によるp53発現状態の一致性を明らかにする事を目的とし、大腸癌の病態解明と診断精度向上につながる研究を行う。
