Outline of Research at the Start

I put forward a hypothesis that PGC-1alpha in OL plays a crucial role in OL differentiation via regulating mitochondrial biogenesis and is involved in the pathophysiology of SZ. Here, I propose my project to verify this hypothesis using in vitro and in vivo models. In addition, I will explore the possible ameliorating effects of drugs that stimulate mitochondrial biogenesis on abnormal OL differentiation and animal behaviors in this project.
