Outline of Research at the Start	慢性閉塞性肺疾患（COPD）は、その増悪因子として筋力の衰えや身体活動量の低下が言われている。ただし、どのような筋肉あるいは筋組成が呼吸機能や身体活動に影響を及ぼすかについてはいまだ不明である。脊柱起立筋群は背部にある長く大きな筋肉であるが、これまでCOPD患者における脊柱起立筋群の筋疲労の計測は実施されたことがなく、呼吸機能や身体活動との関係も未確認である。本研究は、脊柱起立筋群をさらに脊柱起立筋と多裂筋に分別した上で、それらの筋疲労特性や筋断面積を探索的に測定し、運動療法のターゲットとして見据えながらCOPD患者における脊柱筋の特性を明らかにするものである。
