Outline of Research at the Start

「難治性の慢性咳嗽」の適応を取得した初の治療薬であり、ATPの作用を阻害して鎮咳効果を発揮するゲーファピキサントの有効性と原因診断、咳誘発因子、生理学的所見、バイオマーカーの関連を解析し、本剤の治療反応性予測を解析する。無効例も含めて個々の症例に関わる難治化病態を探索して難治性慢性咳嗽の個別化治療戦略を追求する。高頻度に出現する有害事象である味覚障害の予測因子にもアプローチする。
