Outline of Research at the Start	慢性閉塞性肺疾患（COPD）において、経年的な呼吸機能低下を抑制する治療法は存在しない。COPD病態では細胞老化の亢進が重要な役割を果たし、老化細胞を標的としたSenotherapyの有効性が期待されているが、最も細胞老化が亢進する細胞種と、適切なSenotherapy及びその評価方法は確立されていない。今回我々は、p16発現老化細胞を可視化、さらには選択的に除去できるマウスモデルを使用することで、これらの課題の解決を試みる。
