Outline of Research at the Start	加齢による臓器障害の進行には炎症が共通経路であり、総称としInflammaging と呼称する。InflammasomeはこのInflammagingの中心的役割を担っている。内皮機能障害がInflammasome活性化を促進させ、腎障害を増悪させることを報告してきた。またInflammasome活性化には細胞内Ca2+上昇が必須である。本研究では細胞内Ca2+濃度調節機構としてtransient receptor potential canonical(TRPC)に着目した。本研究で「糸球体上皮細胞におけるTRPC5依存的Ca2+流入は老化関連炎症に関与しているか？」との命題を解明したい。
