Outline of Research at the Start	現在、皮膚の色調の違いにオートファジーが関連していることが徐々に明らかになりつつあるが、30以上であるオートファジー関連遺伝子による、皮膚の色調を調節する機構の詳細はいまだ不明のままである。本研究では、原因不明としていた遺伝性色素異常症患者を改めて解析し、同定した遺伝子変異による表現型を培養細胞とマウスを用いて検討、新規遺伝性色素異常症を確立する。色素異常に関連するオートファジー関連遺伝子を明らかにすることで、色素異常症における新領域を開拓したい。
