Outline of Research at the Start

膵癌は代表的な難治癌であり、特に腹膜播種を有する患者の生存期間は極めて短い。われわれはこれまで継続して膵癌腹膜播種に対する臨床研究を行っており、腹腔内化学療法の多施設共同研究などを通じて治療成績を徐々に改善させてきた。近年新たな癌治療として光免疫療法が注目されており、関西医科大学に光免疫医学研究所が開設された。本研究は膵癌腹膜播種に対する光免疫療法を開発することを目的とし、将来的に本治療を含めた集学的治療を確立することを目指す。
