Outline of Research at the Start

パーキンソン病（以下PD）は、60歳以上の人口の1％以上が罹患する神経変性疾患である。臨床的には、振戦、筋硬直、無動、姿勢反射障害などの運動障害を伴い、生活の質が低下する。PD患者の68～85％は痛みを併発するが、明らかなメカニズムの解明はされておらず、治療法は存在しない。ノシセプチン／オルファニンFQ（以下N/OFQ）は、全身に広く分布しているノシセプチンオピオイドペプチド（以下NOP）受容体のリガンドであり、運動、疼痛など様々な生体機能を制御している。本研究ではN/OFQ-NOP受容体システムの関係性に着目し、PD関連痛に対するNOP受容体拮抗薬の鎮痛効果の検証を行う。
