Outline of Research at the Start

乳幼児期の長時間や複数回の全身麻酔経験は成長後に学習障害をきたすことがげっ歯類と霊長類で報告されている。そのため米国食品医薬品局は、3歳未満の子供への麻酔薬の反復または長期使用は脳の発達に影響を与える可能性があると警告している。しかし、乳児期から複数回の全身麻酔が必要な子供は少なくない。α2受容体作動薬クロニジンは麻酔薬による脳障害を予防する可能性についてげっ歯類で報告されている。本研究では、全身麻酔後脳障害のクロニジンによる抑制効果を明らかにすることを計画している。
