Outline of Research at the Start

慢性副鼻腔炎は、多様性に富む慢性炎症性気道疾患である。本研究は、副鼻腔炎患者において鼻ポリープ組織および鼻粘膜上皮擦過細胞、さらにコントロールとして手術症例から正常鼻粘膜組織を収集しRNA-seqを用いたトランスクリプトーム解析を行う。これらの結果を詳細な臨床情報と統合することにより、各病態で変動する特徴的な遺伝子群を同定する。さらに日本人のGWASデータベースPheWeb.jpのデータも活用し、病態を反映する分子群や新規治療標的分子の同定を行う。それらにより慢性副鼻腔炎患者の層別化を行い最適医療につなげることを目的とする。
