Outline of Research at the Start	眼発生では神経提眼周囲間充織（POM）を経て構成される角膜実質・内皮、線維柱帯および強膜等がどのように成熟分化するか不明な点が多い。本研究では、独自の細胞培養法によって得られた前駆細胞を用いて、POMから分化誘導される一連の眼組織の分化制御機構を解明する。本研究によって、POMから各眼組織への分化誘導メカニズムが明らかになれば、POMを用いた再生医療や関連する眼疾患の病態解明において重要な知見をもたらすことが期待される。
