Outline of Research at the Start	歯の自家移植は歯の部分欠損歯列に対する補綴治療手段の1つであり，自己の歯根膜を利用できることが最大の利点である．しかし現状では一定の割合で経過不良が生じ，その原因の多くは移植歯と歯槽骨が直接結合するアンキローシスとその後の置換性吸収による歯の脱落である．アンキローシスの発症機序は不明であるが，Wntシグナルにより歯根膜細胞の石灰化系細胞への分化が促進し，歯根膜の恒常性が破綻することで生じると考えられる．そこで本研究は，Wntシグナルによる歯根膜恒常性維持メカニズムを解明し，Wntシグナルの制御によりアンキローシスを抑制することにより，予知性の高い歯の自家移植術の確立を目指すものである．
