Outline of Research at the Start	御遺体の身元確認にはX線画像が有用であり、携帯型装置が多く用いられている。携帯型装置は持ち運びが簡便であるために様々な場所で利用され、御遺体は様々な床材上に安置されている。X線を御遺体に照射すると一部は床材にも照射され、床材から発生するX線（散乱線）による操作者や周囲の一般大衆に対する被曝が懸念される。実験材料はプラスチックや木材、土、コンクリート、金属板等を用いる。予備実験の結果は、散乱線は床材の厚みと共に増加し、一定以上の厚みでは一定となった。また、散乱線は装置からの距離と反比例の関係であり、一定の割合で減少した。もしこの関係性を数学的に表現できれば、安全な作業環境の確立に有用であろう。
