Outline of Research at the Start

進行がん患者の予後予測の精度を高め、適切な治療や療養計画につなげるために、国際的にも評価されている代表的な進行がん患者の予後予測尺度の、特定のがん種(脳腫瘍、頭頚部がん、血液がんなど)および患者背景(超高齢者、若年など)による診断精度の違いを検証することを目的とした前向きコホート研究を行う。

Outline of Annual Research Achievements

若年者や超高齢者での予後予測スコアの予測精度を評価するため、多施設共同前向きコホート研究で得られた2800例のデータを用いて2次解析を行っている。具体的には、若年患者群(50歳未満)と超高齢者患者群(85歳以上)に関して短い予後と長い予後の予測感度・特異度・陽性尤度比・陰性尤度比を計算して、精度を検証している。
