Outline of Research at the Start

新型コロナウイルス感染症（以下、COVID-19）は人々の健康に計り知れない打撃を与えた。結核もCOVID-19の世界的流行によって大きな影響を受け、結核患者の届出数は前年比18％減、また結核による死者数は150万人と2006年ぶりに増加に転じた。
本研究ではCOVID-19禍において日本を含め各国で実施された様々な行動制限措置がいかに人々の医療行動に影響を与えたか、そして人々の医療行動の変化がいかに結核の届出数と治療成績に影響を与えたかを検証する。幾つかの国をフィールドとすることで、国際的なエビデンスの創出へ貢献し、今後の感染症対策の在り方に対して知見を提供することが期待される。
