Outline of Research at the Start	本研究は、「これまで当たり前のように実施してきた沐浴は、果たして新生児の皮膚にとって最適な清潔ケアの方法なのか」という素朴な疑問からスタートしている。先行研究から明確となった課題を踏まえ、新生児の皮膚バリア機能を正常に保ちながら実施する清潔ケアの具体的方策を検討することを最終目的とし、5年計画で3つの研究から構成した。 ①新生児の生まれつき持つ皮膚水分量はどの程度か、②分娩施設に入院中の早期新生児の清潔ケアとして普及しているDTは最も皮膚水分量を保持できるのか、そして③分娩施設を退院したあとに多くの家庭で実施している沐浴は、皮膚水分量を保持する最善の方法なのか、という疑問を検討する。
