Outline of Research at the Start

日本では，嚥下障害をもつ高齢者の増加が見込まれ，看護師には嚥下障害の正確な臨床判断が求められる．臨床判断には，嚥下障害を示す症状・徴候，すなわち診断指標が必要である．しかし，看護師が嚥下障害を臨床判断するための診断指標の検証は十分されていない．そのため，嚥下障害の専門家でない一般看護師でも，正確な嚥下障害の臨床判断を導くことができる診断指標の開発が必要である．
本研究では，研究者がこれまで検証してきた診断指標を，一般看護師が観察でき，かつ嚥下障害を正確に予測できる診断指標に発展させることを目的とする．
本研究結果により，一般看護師も患者の嚥下障害を正確に臨床判断し，早期に介入できることにつながる．
