Outline of Research at the Start	本人の望む治療が受けられる（受けない選択も受け入れられる）ように、本人意思と推定意思に生じるジレンマを最小化するツールを実験心理学的手法で開発し、そのツールを用いて認知症の人等の意思が最大限尊重されるようにする。具体的で有効な代理意思決定支援の方法を見出すことは、多くの代理意思決定者、医療・ケアに関わる者にとっても必要である。
