Outline of Research at the Start

高い高齢化率、リハビリテーションを必要とする患者数の増加に伴い、より個人最適に効率的な方法の確立が求められている。環境エンリッチメントは、動物実験ではBDNFの増加など脳の可塑性が知られており、リハビリテーションへの応用が期待される。本研究では、1)環境エンリッチメントの動物飼育環境の脳動態への影響について、BDNFの増加に効果的な物理的環境エンリッチメントの条件を明らかにし、2)大脳基底核系の重要な役割を担うドーパミン系の障害の回復可能性について、「3レバーオペラント課題」を用い環境エンリッチメント飼育下のドーパミン受容体遺伝子欠損マウスの行動特性および学習過程から明らかにすることを目指す。
